Samba for the Senorita…A GREAT Big Band Jazz Samba with lots of soloing.This track will definitely get you up on the dance floor! It's All Over Now…A smooth Bossa Nova treatment for this lovely ballad.The vocal enters on the second chorus and the song finishes on an instrumental note.A format used in the Big Band Era...Orchestra-Band Singer-Orchestra. Our Dog Sam (Vocal)…Definitely a COUNTRY treatment with John on the vocal singing about the families cherished pet SAM. I Never Knew Loves Way…Another pretty love song done in a REGGAE style.Very danceable! Inner City Theme 2039…Done in the tradition of a Hollywood Movie Soundtrack…A 'dark' theme complete with a heavy ROCK beat! Lollipops & Roses…The lovely 3/4 time Pop song which featured Jack Jones in the Sixties.This one gets a lovely Flugel Horn treatment. Music Is My Life (Vocal)…John expresses so eloquently what music means to him in this vocal treatment of his Pop Ballad styled from the '70's! Sammy SeatBelt…John is joined by his young daughter Kathy in a song they wrote together to promote the safety of school children wearing their seatbelt. Don't Be Sad…Another Latin Big Band Jazz composition of John's with some nice solos written in the Sergio Mendez Brazilian tradition. Our Dog Sam (Instrumental)…The Instrumental version of the song on Track 3. Music Is My Life (Instrumental)…The Instrumental version of the song on Track 7. Back In The Days…A feisty DIXIELAND tune in the tradition of the 1920's era…banjo,tuba,cornet and all. My Lady…John sings about that 'special' lady in his life and what she means to him.A torch pop ballad in a '70's style.
